Galatians 6:9 – “And l for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up.”
The View From The Valley
Robert L. Hornsby, III
What is a valley? According to Webster there are three definitions of a valley. The first states:
1. An elongated depression of the earth’s surface,
2. The second definition says a low point or condition,
3. and the last definition states that it’s a form of depression.
A spiritual valley may seem as if there is nothing but darkness. These dark times or valleys are a periods of time in which we are to rely on God more than ever. In the book of Isaiah 40:31, it states, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.” Instead of giving up when we are in these spiritual valleys, we should do as Psalm’s 121:1 and Lift up our eyes unto the hills which cometh our help. It is so easy to give up, but instead of giving up, I encourage you to find scriptures that are like the arms of Jesus; wrapping around you to comfort you and give you a sense of hope. These storms of the valley don’t last always. So, whenever you feel as if these storms that seem to be flooding your valley are getting the best of you, just remember Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.”Share on Facebook
